Storyland: Need nearby hotel recs please!

Hi,

We%26#39;ll be spending a weekend up near Storyland this coming summer and would love some recs for nice places nearby to stay. We%26#39;ll have a toddler with us, so the following are important to us:

- Clean

- Close by to Storyland

- Child play area is a bonus, though not necessary since we%26#39;ll be at Storyland all day anyway

We stay at the Golden Gables Inn every summer. We also travel with children and Storyland is always on our list. The Golden Gables Inn is at the southern end of the North Conway strip. It is a very clean, very affordable motel with a new building in the back and newly remodeled rooms in the front. There is an outdoor pool and a giant yard with a play area. It is perfect for children. Outlets right next door and across the street. You have the option of rooms with balconies or floor level rooms that lead right out into the yard. The train tracks are also right in the back yard so the North Conway train goes right by!! We are staying in July for 7 nights and it is less than 800.00!!! AAA discount and an additional discount if you are a returning customer.

Anyplace in North Conway or Jackson or even Bartlett is within a 15-20 minute drive to Storyland. And the drive is scenic and comfortable. Pick a place that suits your style and your budget. They%26#39;re all convenient.

We were at Nordic Village 3 years ago and it was great. Very close to Storyland. Beatiful pools and they had family entertainment most evenings @ 7PM (i.e. magician, clown, bonfire with marshmallow toasting). There are rowboats you can use (no charge) on a small pond there, too. Very family friendly place.

We always stay at the Seasons at Attitash. Two-bedroom condos, close to Storyland, indoor pool, and a nice little playground.
