My husband and I and a couple of friends are going to the June 28th race there. We have only a tent and online it says tents on the grounds there are not allowed. Are there any good camp grounds close by or anyone have any advise for us?

There are several, although not quite the same as camping at the racetrack for sure. You can rent RV%26#39;s to bring to the track, but if that is not an option there are a few nearby campgrounds, but I am sure they sell out quick.
