Need Storyland Getaway advice

Hi,

I鈥檓 taking wife and 2 kids ages 2 and 3 to Storyland. We want to stay 6 nights and we are looking to be close to Storyland/N. Conway. I鈥檓 trying to avoid spending $150 per night. Here鈥檚 is what we need:

TV, microwave, refrigerator (at least a mini), shower, very clean place, no mold or other smells, a queen or king bed, or 2 doubles. For the kids we usually use cot mattresses or pull out bed mattresses on the floor for them and they love it. Heated pool (either indoor/outdoor of both). Any other amenities would be great but not required. There are tons of vacation rentals available but I can鈥檛 find any geared toward small families; most are sleep 8 to 20 people. All the good hotels and motels are $150 or more. Add in the 8% and it鈥檚 over $900 minimum. I鈥檓 looking to cut that in half. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you

Oh sorry, I meant to put that in there. It%26#39;s 6/13-6/18. Thank you.

You are traveling before the summer season starts so it may be possible but be realistic. I would suggest Linderhof or Xmas mountain which is right across the street and just up the street respectively for a nice condo. These can be found at vrbo.com and cyberrentals.com (forgive me if I spelled the URL wrong). You can save alot of money eating in to make up the difference in a unit. Linderhof has an outdoor pool, not sure about indoor. Another option could be seasons @ attitash which has an indoor pool. Lots of units which may give you some price leverage. These can be rented directly from resort or again at the other sites mentioned. Eastern Slope in may be less than $150 but will be more than $100 (not including taxes, etc).

Hi everyone,

I found a great deal at Attitash River Run Condos.

Thanks for all the help.

Cheers,

Tim

My family rents out a place in Linderhof. Check it out on line through lyonprivaterealtybrokerage.com. It sleeps 8, but you don%26#39;t have to have 8 to use the place. There is plenty of room to be comfortable. Especially if you are there for an extended time. You can get weekly rates. It%26#39;s nice, clean, it has all the ammenities you are looking for. The pool is accross the street from Storyland on the Linderhof Golf Course. Not sure if it%26#39;s heated or not. The house is located on Wilhelm Place. There are many other nice places to stay, but I do think it would be worth it to look at it. Good Luck, I hope you and your family have a great vacation where ever you decide to stay.

We stayed at the Green Granite which was clean, spacious enough, small fridge in room and micro in hallway, nice indoor and outdoor pools, and new outdoor playground for the kids.

Picked up a coupon book from the Information Center and saved money, or use a AAA/CAA card. However we had to drive 20 mins. to Storyland but we were near all the shopping.

Have a nice vacation.
