Portsmouth, Dover or other suggestions

We are flying in and out of Manchester and starting in White Mts then to Bar Harbor and down the coast of Maine. On our last night where would be better to stay? Portsmouth, Dover or other suggestions? Our flight leaves at 2 pm. Thanks

Portsmouth, Dover or other suggestions

Dover and Portsmouth are about 1 to 1 and a half hr from the airport always depending on traffic. Just a thought - Perhaps staying closer to the the airport will give you more time to relax on your flight day and make it less stressfull in the morning. You could turn the car in that night and take a shuttle or cab to MTH the next day.

Portsmouth, Dover or other suggestions

It takes me 50 minutes to get from Peterborough to the MHT exit and 90 minutes to get from Peterborough to Portsmouth (I drive five miles an hour over the speed limit) so figure 45-50 minutes from Portsmouth to MHT. Once at MHT...it%26#39;s absolute breeze to get in and out of!

I know nothing about Dover...but Portsmouth is a fun little city! If you have never been, I think it beats wasting your last night in Manchester waiting for a flight. Not that there is anything wrong with Manchester but it%26#39;s a city. If you had your choice between spending your last day in Atlanta or in Savannah...(I know they aren%26#39;t that close geographically) but I think you get my point.

Portsmouth has character and charm you won%26#39;t get walking the city blocks of Manchester.
