My fiance just graduated college and his birthday is also coming up so I was thinking about planning just a 1 night trip into North Conway. I was wondering what hotels would people recommend? It%26#39;ll just be the 2 of us and we%26#39;re really not picky I just thought it would be something spontaneous and fun. And I would be looking for a less expensive one as well. Thank you!

I always recommend the Golden Gables Inn in North Conway. So clean, and updated. They have a variety of rooms from a standard queen (with marble vanity, LCD TV, private balcony, etc to I believe fireplace suites or jacuzzi suites. They usually quite a bit cheaper than the %26#39;chain%26#39; hotels. Try there first!

We have stayed there twice and recommended it to family as well. It is always our first call when we know we are going to North Conway. We usually take the standard queen room, it is perfect for our needs. Drive up units are perfect for all that shopping too! Have fun.
We%26#39;ve stayed at the Green Granite. I haven%26#39;t been in a few years because we%26#39;ve been renting a condo when we go up but you could check their website.

The White Trellis is on the north end of the village, and we stayed there a couple years ago for a single night. Couple new resturants in that area as well.
Any other intrests, or endeavors that you are looking for while in the NC area?
