Chatham to North Conway

More questions!! We leave our rental house in Chatham, Cape Cod on July 11th and heading off to NH. How far is it to North Conway? We were planning on doing the trip over 2 days but we are now wondering are we better off doing the miles and going up there in one go - less hotels to check in and out of - spend extra time in NH.

Chatham to North Conway

It looks like the milage is around 225 miles and driving time 4 and a half to 5 hours if you don%26#39;t hit traffic. You will be leaving the cape on a Saturday along with many, many people so unless you want to sit in traffic, leave as early as possible.I believe your shortest route is the mid-cape highway over the bridge through Boston - 93 north to 495 north to the Spaulding Turnpike (route 16) into Conway. You can also stay on rt 93 north getting off in Lincoln and take the Kancamagus highway to Conway. This is a spectacular drive with many places to stop for viewing. Great time to come to the white mountains. Have you been to Boston and do you plan to spend any time in the city?

Chatham to North Conway

Our itinerary is arrive Boston 30th June (late). Spend 1st July touring Boston. Leave Boston on 2nd July (early) - get on to Cape Cod - spend 2 nights in Falmouth. Move on to Chatham to our rental house until 11th. On 11th travel to North Conway and spend maybe 3 nights there. On 14th head towards maybe Green Mountains (open to suggestions) and spend 14/15 July there. Move back down to Boston on 16th - return the rental car. Spend part of 16th and 17th in Boston again. How does that sound????
