Going to N. Conway in a week anyone have suggestions for what to do while we are there. Thanks

It%26#39;s about sightseeing. You can do it from your car, on your feet by hiking, or ride some of the trams and lifts or coaches and trains, or any combination of them all. Just get out and get around. The White Mtns are one of the oldest mountain ranges (geologically) in the USA.

You could go shopping. There are plenty of places to go. Visit Zebs in downtown NC for everything made in New England.
For something different you could go horseback riding at Black Mountain in Jackson. They go up the trail 2000 ft. You could do a sunset ride.
Check to see if the chair lifts are running at Attitash.
The alpine slides are a blast but I%26#39;m not sure if they are open yet.
There are plenty of places to stop off and just hike in the woods. You could probably stop at the NH rest area when you first enter the state and get some brochures for this area. There is also a chamber of commerce bldg in NC that may be able to help you. I%26#39;d check the rest area firt.
Love to help but hate these kinds of questions. How long is the visit? ages of party? what do you like to do? what made you pick NC? Are you active, like to hike, etc. Have you looked at any of the prior posts as there are dozens, if not hundreds of suggestions.
DC, we really do want to give you some guidance so you have a memorable trip but you got to help us just a little bit!!!
Hi Chetta,
Will be up for the Memorial w/e? Are there any must -do%26#39;s that you would be interested in? Will you be bringing any children with you and have you already booked a place to stay?
The above poster is a friend of mine. She is traveling with her boyfriend, 30 somethings with no kids. Very active. They are going mid week and staying at Eastern Slope Inn.
Well, any friend of Msar%26#39;s... Maybe DAV or some of the other locals can correct me if I am wrong, but this is probably a good time to hike Arathusa Falls. It is the hightest in NH and with the spring rains should be pretty spectacular. I, recently suggested Mt Chocurua for a hike and Red Rox has seconded that one which means more than my rec, believe me!!
Also, just got an email about an artisan%26#39;s festival in NC on 5.23 if that is when you will be there.
Oh, and definitely have a Tuckerman%26#39;s beer and/or visit Moat Mtn brew pub.
No kids never been my boyfriend are up for anything
