It%26#39;s going to be pretty expensive no matter how you get here, as you%26#39;re a good 277 miles away. I think the best way for you to do this is to take a bus from Montreal to either the city of Boston or to the city of Manchester. From those two points you%26#39;d have to figure out another bus or a way to get to Hampton Beach, possibly a taxi I%26#39;m thinking. Check greyhounds site to get you within the vicinity of the beach at least:

Montreal to Boston would be a good 347 miles yet it%26#39;s only $73 one way via greyhound, that%26#39;s not too bad actually, because when you see the prices from Montreal to Manchester, NH, they%26#39;re a lot more.

Montreal to Manchester each way is roughly $157.30, if you get a 7 day advanced purchase though it%26#39;s $112.50, where a 14 day purchase is only $92.50.

You could take the C%26amp;J bus up from South Station in Boston to either Newburyport or Portsmouth and then you%26#39;d have to take a taxi to get to Hampton Beach.

Good luck, I%26#39;m sure there will be other suggestions for you, just keep researching it through online.

Why Hampton Beach? Is this a day trip (I hope not!!)

You would actually get to Provinetown more directly if you took a bus to boston and the ferry to Ptown. The problem so frequently encountered is that there are no great E-W roads in NE, so the trip from Montreal to Portland is more difficult than the trip to Boston.

You could take a trip without a car easily this way. Or there are buses to the Cape or MV (well not all the way to MV)

It could be a concert @ the Casino, so don%26#39;t jump to conclusions just yet!

You are right I should not jump to conclusions. Then the best advise I can give if Pedro does not have a car is to rent one.
