Motels in Hampton Beach

Hi! Does anyone know whether the Marguerite Motel is any good in Hampton Beach or can you recommend any other ones? Thank You!

Motels in Hampton Beach

It%26#39;s always been a good one, people like their pool here we%26#39;re told a lot. Also it%26#39;s located in the back, which is Ashworth Ave, a block away from the ocean. As a teenager I chambermaided there one summer, it%26#39;s VERY clean here, trust me I know!

But, if you wanted to stay right along the beach, see if you can get a room at the Ashworth By The Sea Hotel. They have new owners %26amp; recently renovated all their rooms, it%26#39;s better than ever now. It%26#39;s also in a better location I think. You just have to cross the street for the beach %26amp; all that. It%26#39;s very convenient being directly in front of the ';Lady'; statue. They have an indoor pool at this one too, it%26#39;s just a beautiful complex in my opinion. The better places are located along the beach up front, this ones definitely a gem. You have to be very careful where you stay at this beach, some of the motels can pull ';cute'; moves IF you know what I mean. These two are upfront %26amp; very honest %26amp; very good to deal with from what I know of them so far %26amp; they always had outstanding reputations at these two. Also, the Ashworth has a good deal on their site right now, so check it out:

Motels in Hampton Beach

Thanks. I checked out the Ashworth and in July the rooms are running around $225/night. It looks like a nice place but too expensive. I guess that is peak season. So, is the Margurite not near the boardwalk? We are going to be with a baby so I wanted something close to the beach for naps, etc.

The Marguerite Motel is on the street in back, which is a block in back of the beach %26amp; the front where the Boardwalk is. See about the Hampton House, it%26#39;s a few doors down from the Ashworth %26amp; in a better location for the beach...other than these places, I wouldn%26#39;t jump @ any of the others @ the beach (Be careful, seriously). Especially if you want to be upfront along the Boardwalk. Further up where North Beach is, check this place, you%26#39;d like this part of the beach a lot. You can always head down to the Boardwalk at dusk to walk %26amp; see the shows @ the hatchshell,we do this a lot by parking @ Dave%26#39;s parking lot, it%26#39;s real easy to get in %26amp; out of there...

Check the rates @ the Hampton House or this one to see what they can do for you:

Also...check the Blue Jay Motel, the reviews on it on TA are quite good actually...good rates too...

Veronica - another site with info is www.hamptonbeach.org

There are a variety of activities listed at hampton beach that you might be interested in.

Thanks everyone. I am going to check all those out and hopefully find some availability since I am looking for the week of July 4th.

It looks like the Blue Jay is kind of far from everything. Do you know if that is the case? It%26#39;s tough to tell from the map.

I have to go to do a few errands tomorrow later in the morning %26amp; I%26#39;ll be driving by where the Blue Jay Motelis located, so I%26#39;ll be able to see exactly where it%26#39;s located. Yesterday, I just happen to see the reviews on TA quickly %26amp; thought it might be okay where they were surprisingly all positive. I%26#39;ll let you know what I discover with it...stay tuned...

I forgot about this one, you have to read the reviews here though to see what you think. A relative of mine stayed here a few summers ago for 10 days %26amp; thought it was perfect being across the street from the beach. It%26#39;s the Aegean Motel located at 345 Ocean Blvd., again, another one just beyond the Ashworth By The Sea Hotel:

The rates aren%26#39;t bad here at all, here%26#39;s the info on it for your review:

www.aegeanmotel.com

I%26#39;ll let you know about the Blue Jay Motel, I think you might be right, it%26#39;s located down on Ashworth Ave., I personally prefer being on Ocean Blvd., right across from the beach %26amp; along the boardwalk, it%26#39;s ideal for walking thru there at night %26amp; later in the afternoon after the beach.

Did you happen to read up on the Main Sail on Ashworth Ave.? The reviews are really really good on it on TA, I just read a few of them and they%26#39;re pretty positive on them, every one of them too. The property always looks impeccable when you drive by it any way. I remember a cousin of mine stayed there a while ago %26amp; had no complaints with staying there at all. I forgot about that one, it%26#39;s a good one to see about. The only thing is VeronicaNYC99, it%26#39;s located on the street in back of Ocean Blvd., you%26#39;d have to walk down a block further from the beach/boardwalk to get to it, that%26#39;s all. If I were you, I%26#39;d check any way. It%26#39;s family friendly %26amp; they don%26#39;t pull any punches here from what I remember of it! They mean business when it comes to parties %26amp; all that, they don%26#39;t tolerate that on their property AT all. (which is a GOOD thing!) So at least you %26amp; your baby will get some sleep here, so keep it on your list, believe me! That%26#39;s actually why I mentioned the one further up Ocean Blvd. @ North Beach in Hampton for some peace %26amp; quiet!

So now you have a few to check out that are pretty decent, hopefully you%26#39;ll get one of their rooms for a good rate. This particular one is called The Main Sail %26amp; it%26#39;s located at 40 Ashworth Avenue, Hampton Beach.
