Where to stay when visiting Storyland

This is our 3rd time going to Storyland (and probably our last since thekids are getting too old) We stayed at the Dana Place and the Whitney Inn and both times we felt it was fine. But after reading all the negative reviews and knowing it has been a few years since our last visit, I was wondering if anyone had any other opinions of other places to stay?

I like the bed and breakfast part because we get a good breakfast that is not fast food.

3 kids and 2 adults.

Thanks in advance for you input

Try the Eagle Mountain House in Jackson, a large ';grand'; hotel where families are welcome. It%26#39;s only about 2 miles from Storyland. You can sign up for a B %26amp; B plan, modified American, or European, your choice They have connecting rooms with a bathroom in between that would work well for you and your children.

I have rented a condo on Xmas mountain which is very inexpensive. This is right next to storyland. You can contact a local realtor or go to vrbo.com which is how I have located my units. Great location and the units at the top of the mountain have million dollar views of Mt wash, (weather permitting)

Great information everyone, I will check out those sites! Thanks

We stayed at The Lodge at Jackson Village last year and we were very happy. They serve a good breakfast in their great room. We%26#39;re going back this year . I%26#39;ll be happy to answer any questions.

Will%26#39;s Inn has many options for types of rooms, lots with kitchens, so it works out well for not only breakfast, but other meals. They have a website; check it out.

I would suugest www.topnotchrentals.com they have many condos in the area of Storyland with amenitites.

if you%26#39;re looking for a great b and b try the carter notch inn. check out the reviews

If you wanted to do the condo route...cook breakfast in your own place, try luxurymountaingetaways.com you can also sometimes book these townhomes through vrbo.com if available. I have been staying there since the early 90%26#39;s and have never had a bad experience. It%26#39;s a resort with bonfires each night, a great pool and hot tubs and you can also get priveledges to Nestlenook farm for some horseback riding too. It%26#39;s practically across the street from Storyland too.
