My husband and I are currently staying at the suites, in the Washington Building. We have a 1 bedroom unit which sleeps 4. It%26#39;s really beautiful, a lot more spacious than I thought it would be. 4 people could comfortably stay here easily. The upstairs has the king size bed, gas fireplace, sitting area, roomy jacuzzi tub in the bedroom, shower stall in bathroom. 36'; TV w/VCR/DVD. At the top of the stairs before entering the bedroom, there%26#39;s a small sink area with a refrigerator. There%26#39;s lots of screened windows for a great breeze throughout the unit up and downstairs. It%26#39;s listed as having a mini kitchen but it%26#39;s got a full size refrigerator, flat top stove with oven, microwave and dishwasher. Kitchen table that seats 6. There%26#39;s also a small porch off the kitchen area, no chairs though which would have been nice. In the living area, there%26#39;s a couch with 3 straight back chairs on wheels but still comfortable. The queen size Murphy bed in the wall we have not used, but would still be comfortable. There%26#39;s another gas fireplace here as well as 36'; TV/VCR/DVD. Also downstairs is the stackable washer/dryer and a bathroom with jacuzzi tub. There%26#39;s a natural stream running down the mountain that runs along side and underneath the walkways. Keep a couple windows open at night to hear the soothing sounds. We%26#39;ve only been here one night but all in all, it%26#39;s a nice place, very quiet this time of year. We went to check out the gym today. The equipment is a bit dated but, they have a great variety and there%26#39;s also a steamroom and sauna off that looks nice.
Those interested in internet access, it was working just fine this morning but is pretty slow right now. If you%26#39;re looking for a nice, clean, quiet place this time of year, I definitely recomment The Suites at Attitash. You%26#39;ll need a vehicle to get around but, there%26#39;s a small grocery store, Grant%26#39;s, 3 miles down the road that has a good variety of everything you could need from fruits/veggies to meats/frozen foods. Go further into N.Conway, just 7 miles or so, you can find grocery stores and a small Walmart as well as the famous outlet malls. There%26#39;s lots to do, you just need to drive a bit to get there..
May add more as the week goes by but so far, it%26#39;s all good! :)
Suites at Attitash Mountain Village
I just booked last night for the Suites in June for a week with a friend to go hiking. I was told we have a ';room'; with a partial kitchen (queen size murphy and queen size sofa bed). I can%26#39;t find photos of it on the site. do you know anything about this type of facility. I%26#39;m assuming it%26#39;s in a large building...brenda
Suites at Attitash Mountain Village
Hi~is it the studio? Not sure which %26#39;room%26#39; it is. Do you know what building it%26#39;s in? We were in the Washington Building and it was very nice. The Franklin Building was right below us and it looked pretty much the same as ours. The only %26#39;bad%26#39; reviews I%26#39;ve read are about Blueberry Village. It was right across the road from us and it%26#39;s definitely more of a rundown apartment type building.. It didn%26#39;t look pretty. Other than that.. I didn%26#39;t see the other sites.. You may want to call the resort and ask them about the %26#39;room%26#39; you%26#39;re in.. just to make sure it%26#39;s really what you want. Good luck!
